Japanese TV: Cyril Takayama Magic

Check out Cyril Takayama perform some magic in front of a crowd anticipating the release of Metal Gear Solid 4. He totally steals Snake's headband out of the game!

Here's one of his more recent (and in my opinion, more interesting) illusions at a coffee bar:

Next Book Club Book!

Ladies and gentlemen, as of Friday morning, Air was the most popular choice, next to the poll category "Other Manga", which it tied with at six out of 18 votes. Just because your manga was not picked, I hope you will join us anyway in discussion about this manga on Sunday, December 14th at 12:00 PM (Pacific Daylight Time) in the Chatango room two.

That gives you one month from today to read the manga.
If you have not read Air, broaden your horizons and pick up a manga you haven't before, and come discuss it with us. If you have read it, come discuss it with us anyway!

Here is the link to the manga online. Also check your library if you like. Most carry manga now, and Air is a particualrily popular title to shelve.
Also... if you have watched Air but not read it, that is different. Do read the manga, the anime story is noticably different than the manga.

Enjoy!

MrFoxy's Wild and Wacky Book Club

Yesterday MrFoxy and I worked on some possible titles in order to hold a manga book club this month.

We have considered Air as one possible title, it's short, at fifteen chapters, a familiar and popular title, and easily enjoyed by guys or girls.

The other is The Yellow Book. It's a bit of an "indie manga", it gets a liitle confusing, but it generates a lot of dialog. It's even shorter at eight chapters.

If anyone is interested in reading one of these, leave a comment by Monday, and we can finish either one in about a month, on Sunday, December 7th, and have a discussion over them in the Chatango.

Lots more cool stuff here!! Continue browsing...
