Kami, any perpsective from Japan you can share with us? Thanks
Oh... I personally REALLY Liked Koizumi... Many people have their own opinions ofcourse, but personally I think he always looked calm and in control.
It's important for a people to see their political leader like that.
If the leaders looks worried, angry, very emotional... the people will be the same.
A little controversial at times... but it's good to "shake" things up a bit here and there... Plus he's a fan of "X" ... so he can't be all that bad :P
Heh... Did you guys see while back (June 30 2006) when Koizumi was given a tour of Graceland with Bush?
To pay homage for the "King", Koizumi said "Thank you for 'Loving me Tender'." or something to that effect... Unfortunately Bush kinda ruined it by saying "Don't be Cruel" or something to that effect.
oh yesh! I saw that clip on the tele!
Some people are upset because Abe is said to me a Koizumi clone... possibly worse... Koizumi helped the economy, but his dealings with the military are a cause for concern... I enjoy being a pacifist personally... I'd like to stay that way... Perhaps if we didn't start beefing up the military, North Korea wouldn't have given us a little firework show...
Although I personally think he might've done that to strengthen ties with the USA... I could go on and on... But I don't many would understand what I'd be getting at.
But ya... either way... I'm a Koizumi fan :P
