For a nice set of マイ箸 people can easily spend over $100. I personally don't own my own set... because they can be quite expensive... and then there is the box to carry them in... Sure... I can go to the 百円 shop and buy a cute little plastic "Hello Kitty" set... but do I want to pull that out whenever I go out to eat? Yesturday I actually found a nice 焼肉 place that custom makes マイ箸 for frequent customers... Sounds like a good deal to me considering alone I can easily spend around $50 on food and drink...
I don't know of any places that give discounts if you bring your own... but I have to say... having a place custom make マイ箸 is a good incentive to keep customers coming back for more meaty goodness :)
