Smap?

Kami sent this to me, and I really liked it, since I'm obsessed with Backstreet Boys and such. n_n
A japanese band (unknown to me) singing and talking with the members of Backstreet Boys~

*Edited by Kami to include 2007 performance.

Many North American Celebrities are Familiar with SMAP (Sports and Music Assemble People)... either as guests on SMAPxSMAP or SMAP Bistro.
Will Smith is always a favourite...
He was even back there again when that last movie of his came out.

SMAP's also sang with other North American talent such as Britney Spears, and Utada Hikaru...

Korean talent such as Shinwa, and Boa...

And Ofcourse Japanese talent such as (Pocky's Favourite) Morning Musume, and Ayumi Hamasaki...

As I said before... besides singing, they are known for their variety show, cooking show (where the group splits into teams and competes against eachother) and for thier many roles in Comedies, Dramas and Movies.

In my own opinion...
SMAP is to Japanese (Boy Band) PoP as X is to Japanses Rock.

Oh! If anyone is curious on Japan's most successful band... B'z!

Most requests on Music Station's top 200 and that's going with songs even in the 50's...

Over 75,000,000 records sold.
From 1988 and still going strong.

I have so many others I would like to include, but it would take a lot of work, and somehow, I don't think that a lot of people will watch them anyways. XD

Just to go to Japan, and watch them perform! :melts: ^///^; It's been a dream since I was just a little pre-teen Jent! <3

Nice Picks :)
Concerts are quite expensive...
I'd be more then happy to go see some with you :)
I still wish I went to see GLAY in concert in Tsu, instead of going to that Rave in Nagoya.

Dir en Grey was at the Family Values 2006 Tour.

Unfortunately, we came late and they were on second stage, so I never heard a peep of them.

Flyleaf, Stone Sour, Deftones, and Korn performed while we were there though.

Yeah, I heard that Dir en Grey was here last year. The tickets were WAY out of my league, so I didn't go.

But I've said for the past couple of years, that I have to go see Gackt before he retires. There are all of these rumors circulating that he will, and it's something I just have to do!

I'll be pretty sad if I don't. Kami, if you can stand Gackt, we should go! My problem, is that I cannot read japanese, so I do not know when he'll be having another concert. :/
