I'm crying as I write this, I've never been a poet but please read it. I don't care what you think. Just read it.

the warmth you felt
in her loving embrace
is now gone
replaced by visions
of her face
her soft smooth skin
her glowing bright eyes
we all walk away
and with her
our hope dies
She is gone
from us now
and can not return
the warmth left her
and with it
all warmth left
the stony cold of an empty soul
longing to be filled again
longing to stretch out and feel
the warmth of that special touch
the warmth we came
to love
so much
the pain will stay
forevermore
it will burn us
to the core
she touched us all
and would help us through
these painful times
that we endure
but she is gone
never again
to return
with that carefree smile
we must move on
though we never forget
life is unfair
to take her so young
but we rely on our friends
and her memories
to help us go on
