Let's Play in English Japanese Kids' Show
Via TVinJapan.com: "This is how you teach Japanese children English. By importing some of the most frightening people around. To scream at them English words. While the play the guitar. To hide the fact that they’re screaming. On TV. In Japan."

Last English learning show I watched was one showing parts of "S Club 7"(?).
They would show a few clips and stop it and explain the different meaning and uses of words from place to place such as "Cheers", "Lift", and "Mate" for example.
It was actually quite interesting to watch...
At the time I was staying with a friend of mine from Thailand who was (is?) both a Thai and English teacher as well as a student at my old school... so while watching, he was making a few notes for his classes and both of us were trying to decipher what was being said by the "S Club" members... thank goodness for subtitles :)
I don't even want to think about how that show would be dubbed if it was playing in America :P
