Creative Barcodes

Here are some barcodes found on actual Japanese products. Most designed by Japanese company, D-Barcode.

Lots more here.

Thanks to Stan for the suggestion!

When I saw the draft... with no pictures... I was expecting the usual square barcodes... I think they done in a 3D type of thing... some which even link to sites on the internet.

Which makes shopping quite interesting at times... scan the barcode with your phone and it brings you to the company site so you can see other products and such :)

FuN? Umm... because they link to sites and you can play games on your phone from some?
You could go to the 100円 shop and even buy games for your phone right from the barcodes...

"Oh look! Streetfighter 2!"
*Insert 100円 and pick selection*
*Open door, scan barcode with phone and EnJoY*?

"Gee, this arcade game is fun... I wish there was a phone version... Oh! What's this barcode thingy?"
*Scan barcode with phone*
"Oh Look! There IS a phone version! I'm getting it right now!"

Or... something?

Yeah... but they're square.

Some of these can do the same function as well.
