Chiba Marines Protect City From Monsterous Competition

The Chiba Lotte Marines aren't a spectacular team, so whomever would pick the players to do battle against these monsters must be a little off in the head.

Many of these posters have appeared in subways throughout Japan.

Posters probably in Chiba...

I'm personally more of a fan of the Hashin Tigers and Hokkaido Nippon Hamfighters.

Granted, I haven't been following 野球 as much as I used too...

But, I know it'll take more than Bobby Valentine's "Bobby Burgers" (Pine apple, cheese and BBQ Sauce... "That's AMAERICAN!") to take on 2007 Champions Chunichi Dragons... especially if they still have Tyrone Woods.

Ok... Ok... 15 runs in 1 inning is pretty impressive... but that was against the Hiroshima Carps!
The Carps haven't been serious contenders since their last pennant in '91...

Oh... I checked... Tyrone Woods is a Free Agent now...
Former Home Run Champ in both Korea and Japan... He should play for the Marlins.
